Over-exfoliating
Leads to raw skin and makeup separation.
5–7 Days Before
-
Waxing or threading the face
Can cause redness, broken skin, or texture. -
Strong acne spot treatments
Often cause flaking that makeup can’t hide. -
Heavy self-tanner on the face

At-home dermaplaning or shaving if not experienced
Risk of irritation or cuts. -
